Pre Matric Scholarships Scheme for Minorities
Last Date to apply: 15-11-2021
The scholarship will be awarded for studies in India in a government or private school from class I to class X, including such residential Government institutes and eligible private institutes selected and notified in a transparent manner by the State Government and Union Territory Administration concerned.
ELIGIBILITY
The scholarship will be awarded to the students who have secured not less than 50% marks in the previous final examination and the annual income of their parents/guardian from all sources does not exceed Rs. 1.00 lakh.

- Aadhaar number of the Student If Aadhaar is not available, then Bonafide student certificate from Institute / School and
- Bank account details (Note: For pre-matric scholarship scheme, where students do not have their own bank account, parents can provide their own account details)

Post Matric Scholarships Scheme for Minorities

The scholarship is to be awarded for studies in India in a government or private higher secondary school/college/university, including such residential institutes of the Government and eligible private institutes selected and notified in a transparent manner by the State Government/Union Territory Administration concerned. It will also cover technical and vocational courses in Industrial Training Institutes/ Industrial Training Centres affiliated with the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) of classes XI and XII level including Polytechnics and other courses (any course of less than one year duration is not covered under this scheme; Certificate courses are also not covered).

The scholarship will be awarded to the students who have secured not less than 50% marks or equivalent grade in the previous final examination and the annual income of whose parents/guardians from all sources does not exceed Rs.2.00 lakh.

Merit cum Means Scholarship for Professional and Technical Courses CS

The scholarship is to be awarded for studies in India in a Government or private institution, selected and notified in a transparent manner by the State Government/Union Territory Administration concerned. It will cover technical and professional courses at the undergraduate and post-graduate levels.
ELIGIBILITY
The scholarship will be awarded to the students who have secured not less than 50% marks or equivalent grade in the previous final examination and the annual income of whose parents/guardians from all sources does not exceed Rs.2.50 lakh.

National Means Cum Merit Scholarship

These scholarships will be provided on yearly basis to the students studying as regular students in class IX in Government, Government-aided, and Local body schools which will be renewed for classes X, XI, and XII. Thus the scholarships will be for a maximum period of four years.
CENTRAL SECTOR SCHEME OF SCHOLARSHIPS FOR COLLEGE AND UNIVERSITY STUDENTS

OBJECTIVE: –
To provide financial assistance to meritorious students from low-income families to meet a part of their day-to-day expenses while pursuing higher studies
SCOPE: –
The scholarships are awarded on the basis of the results of the Senior Secondary Examination. 82000 fresh scholarships per annum [41000 for boys and 41000 for girls] are awarded for pursuing graduate / postgraduate studies in colleges and universities and for professional courses, such as Medical, Engineering, etc.
ELIGIBILITY
Students who are above 80th percentile of successful candidates in the relevant stream from the respective Board of Examination in Class XII of 10+2 pattern or equivalent and pursuing regular courses (not correspondence or distance mode) in Colleges/Institutions recognized by All India Council of Technical Education, UGC Act, 1956, Medical Council of India, Dental Council of India and respective regulatory authorities and not availing the benefit of any other scholarship scheme including State-run scholarship schemes/Fee waiver and reimbursement scheme are eligible under the scheme. Students pursuing Diploma courses are not eligible under the scheme.

National Fellowship and Scholarship for Higher Education of ST Students – Scholarship (Formally Top Class Education for Schedule Tribe Students) – only for scholarships

OBJECTIVE: –
Fellowship: The objective of the scheme is to encourage the ST students, a
section of society with the lowest literacy levels in the country, to acquire higher education in the form of fellowships to pursue M. Phil and Ph. D. Courses, with a view to creating qualified professionals to hold posts of teachers /professionals and other higher stages of employment.
Scholarship: ST Students is intended to encourage meritorious ST students
to pursue courses at the Graduate/Post Graduate level in identified Institutions of excellence, Government and Private, in professional fields such as Management, Medicine, Engineering, Information Technology, Law, etc.
ELIGIBILITY
The Fellowship/ Scholarship will be available only to the ST candidates who fulfill the following conditions for the award:
Fellowship:
- The candidate belonging to ST should have passed the Post-Graduation examination for being eligible for the Fellowship. The candidate should get admission and registration for regular and full-time M.Phil/Ph.D Courses in University / Academic Institutions recognized by UGC under Section 2 (f) of the UGC Act / ICAR by fulfilling conditions of admission of that University/Institution.
- The list of University/Academic institutions as referred to in sub-para (i) above shall be identified by the ministry.
- The ST students once considered eligible for the Fellowship shall not be entitled to any other scholarship of the Centre or State Government for the same study.
- The fellowship shall be payable once the student has secured admission and started the research work.
- In order to qualify for the Senior Research Fellowship, a candidate will have to fulfill the UGC/ICAR norms prescribed in this regard.
Scholarship:
- ST students who have secured admission in the notified Institutions according to the norms prescribed by the respective Institutions will be eligible for the scholarship under the scheme.
- The student will be eligible to join only the list of institutions identified by the Ministry.
- The total family income of the candidate to be eligible for this scholarship from all sources should not exceed Rs.6.0 lakh per annum.
- The scholarship shall be payable once the student has secured admission and started attending the classes.
- The scholarship awarded, will continue till the completion of the course, subject to the satisfactory performance of the student
