Pre Matric Scholarships Scheme for Minorities
Last Date to apply: 31-10-2020
The scholarship will be awarded for studies in India in a government or private school from class I to class X, including such residential Government institutes and eligible private institutes selected and notified in a transparent manner by the State Government and Union Territory Administration concerned.
ELIGIBILITY
The scholarship will be awarded to the students who have secured not less than 50% marks in the previous final examination and annual income of their parents/guardian from all sources does not exceed Rs. 1.00 lakh.
Documents Required:
- Educational documents of student
- Aadhaar number of the Student If Aadhaar is not available, then Bonafide student certificate from Institute / School and
- Bank account details (Note: For pre-matric scholarship scheme, where students do not have their own bank account, parents can provide their own account details)
- If Institute/School is different from the domicile state of the applicant, then Bonafide student certificate from Institute / School.

Post Matric Scholarships Scheme for Minorities

The scholarship is to be awarded for studies in India in a government or private higher secondary school/college/university, including such residential institutes of the Government and eligible private institutes selected and notified in a transparent manner by the State Government/Union Territory Administration concerned. It will also cover technical and vocational courses in Industrial Training Institutes/ Industrial Training Centres affiliated with the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) of classes XI and XII level including Polytechnics and other courses (any course of less than one-year duration is not covered under this scheme; Certificate courses are also not covered).

Scholarship will be awarded to the students who have secured not less than 50% marks or equivalent grade in the previous final examination and the annual income of whose parents/guardians from all sources does not exceed Rs.2.00 lakh.

Merit cum Means Scholarship for Professional and Technical Courses CS

The scholarship is to be awarded for studies in India in a Government or private institution, selected and notified in a transparent manner by the State Government/Union Territory Administration concerned. It will cover technical and professional courses at undergraduate and post graduate level.
ELIGIBILITY
Scholarship will be awarded to the students who have secured not less than 50% marks or equivalent grade in the previous final examination and the annual income of whose parents/guardians from all sources does not exceed Rs.2.50 lakh.

CENTRAL SECTOR SCHEME OF SCHOLARSHIPS FOR COLLEGE AND UNIVERSITY STUDENTS

OBJECTIVE: –
To provide financial assistance to meritorious students from low income families to meet a part of their day-to-day expenses while pursuing higher studies
SCOPE: –
The scholarships are awarded on the basis of the results of Senior Secondary Examination. 82000 fresh scholarships per annum [41000 for boys and 41000 for girls] are awarded for pursuing graduate / postgraduate studies in colleges and universities and for professional courses, such as Medical, Engineering etc.
ELIGIBILITY
Students who are above 80th percentile of successful candidates in the relevant stream from the respective Board of Examination in Class XII of 10+2 pattern or equivalent and pursuing regular courses (not correspondence or distance mode) in Colleges/Institutions recognized by All India Council of Technical Education, UGC Act, 1956, Medical Council of India, Dental Council of India and respective regulatory authorities and not availing benefit of any other scholarship scheme including State run scholarship schemes/Fee waiver and reimbursement scheme are eligible under the scheme. Students pursuing Diploma courses are not eligible under the scheme.

National Means Cum Merit Scholarship

These scholarships will be provided on yearly basis to the students studying as regular students in class IX in a Government, Government-aided and Local body schools which will be renewed for classes X, XI and XII. Thus the scholarships will be for a maximum period of four years.
