China Completes Hospital in just 10 Days. Watch full construction video and images.
China is one of the strongest countries in the world and popularly known for its advanced technology. It has created a world record by completing the construction of the 1,000 bed space Wuhan Huoshenshan Hospital in under ten days at China’s Wuhan City to treat coronavirus patients. The hospital includes 30 intensive care units and isolation wards at the final two-story facility.
The World Health Organization (W.H.O) declared Coronavirus a Global Health Emergency, and more than 20 countries have confirmed cases. At least 360 people have died in China, the government said on Monday, and more than 17,000 people across the country have been infected.
The aim was to build off the previous construction of Beijing Xiaotangshan Hospital in just a week’s time back in 2003. The project was started on the Huoshenshan hospital on January 23, 2020 and was initially scheduled to be built in six days. It was completed successfully by using the crew of 7,000-members.
As the existing hospitals were overwhelmed in the city, they began to turn away patients and turned to social media for medical supplies. According to the official Xinhua news agency, work on the new hospital in the Caidian district of Wuhan began, as CGTN states, “to address the insufficiency of existing medical resources.”
